Mu Li (Powder)

Key Characteristics: Secures deficiency leading to leakage and loss, stops sweating. Softens hard masses or nodules due to constrained heat and phlegm. Augments yin deficiency with floating yang leading to disorders in the channels of the Heart, Liver and Kidneys. Calms the spirit, absorbs acidity and alleviates pain (e.g. gastric acid).

Ye Jiao Teng

Key Characteristics: Nourishes the Heart, calms the spirit, unblocks the collaterals, nourishes the blood and expels wind (and so gently stops itch — can also be applied externally for this). Particularly good for dream-disturbed sleep.
Additional Notes: 15-30g is the usual dose. -
Yuan Zhi (Prepared)

Key Characteristics: Transforms phlegm, opens the Heart orifice, re-establishes harmonious communication between Heart and Kidneys. Also stops cough, and reduces abscesses and dissipates swelling if applied externally.
Additional Notes: We only dispense the prepared form. We prepare our Yuan Zhi with Gan Cao in order to reduce its mild irritation of the throat and enhance its calming effect. -
