Dang Gui (Chao) (Radix Angelicae sinensis)
Properties: sweet, acrid, bitter, warm
Channels: Heart, Liver, Spleen
Key Characteristics: Tonifies blood, invigorates the blood, regulates menstruation, stops pain. Also moistens the Intestines and treats cough by moistening the Lungs.
Additional Notes: This is the dry-fried form. We offer three forms of Dang Gui.
A) Raw Dang Gui. If raw is desired please select Dang Gui (Raw) from the herbs list.
B) Dry-fried Dang Gui is warmer and less moistening, also less blood invigorating, so better for use in pregnancy if needed.
C) Charred Dang Gui stops bleeding. If charred is desired please select Dang Gui (Tan) from the herbs list.
