Dang Gui (Raw) (Radix Angelicae sinensis)
Properties: sweet, acrid, bitter, warm
Channels: Heart, Liver, Spleen
Key Characteristics: Tonifies blood, invigorates the blood, regulates menstruation, stops pain. Also moistens the Intestines and treats cough by moistening the Lungs.
Additional Notes: This is the raw form. We offer three forms of Dang Gui.
A) Raw Dang Gui, while nourishing blood and moving blood, is the best form for moistening the Intestines and the Lungs.
B) Dry-fried Dang Gui is warmer and less moistening, also less blood invigorating, so better for use in pregnancy if needed. If dry-fried is desired please select Dang Gui (Chao) from the herbs list.
C) Charred Dang Gui stops bleeding. If charred is desired please select Dang Gui (Tan) from the herbs list.
Additional Notes: The ‘Certified’ label on this herb means it has shown non-detectable levels of pesticides and heavy metals.
